Seeking Podcast Volunteer — Join our team!
Wee Seeds is a start-up enterprise grown to give parents and professionals fun, inspiring and practical digital tools to help plant the seeds of mindfulness, meditation and movement in preschoolers.
We are looking for on-the-ground support to develop and grow brand awareness and digital engagement: specifically we are seeking a volunteer who has experience in co-ordinating, producing and publishing podcasts.
We are looking to launch a new Wee Seeds podcast in March 2020, in conjunction with the release of our latest Wee Seeds version, which will incorporate our Buy One Give One Away function.
Are you passionate about:
- Using the spoken word as a medium
- Technical advances and clever ways to promote that spoken word?
Are you good at:
- Co-ordinating multiple relationships
- Organising and developing publications strategy and delivery
- Writing copy to summarise content for publications/social media
- Social media content plan and creation to support podcast activity
- Working off your own back, often remotely
- Being part of a remote team of part-time workers?
What we can offer

Experience Required
- Knowledge and experience of podcasts (making and publishing), experience of podcast promotion, copywriting skills; scheduling tools and basic design tools;
- good organisational abilities; strong oral communication and interpersonal skills; enthusiasm and energy.
Commitment
Preferably around 3–5 hours a week, with a minimum commitment of 2+ months. We require volunteers to provide their own tech.
Expenses
Travel costs will be reimbursed at local public transport rate or mileage at 45p per mile. Volunteers who work more than 4 hours per day can claim £2.50 for lunch.
